Administrative Assistant

Project Summary:
The High Road School and Catapult Learning provide social / emotional and academic services to students with a variety of special differences. It is our goal to develop student confidence and competence through individualized academic and behavioral programs. Working in collaboration with Philadelphia School District provides us an opportunity to address student differences in conjunction with district needs in a meaningful manner that broadens student growth opportunities and enhances their academic experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Writes and distributes email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsOrders office supplies
  • Answers and directs phone calls
  • Provides general support to visitors
  • Coordinates mailings
  • Acts as the point of contact for stakeholders
  • Updates and maintains office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, copy machines, scanners and phone systems
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to demonstrate effective liaison relationships with parents, schools, agencies and stakeholders
  • Ability to aid in program development


Qualifications

  • Possession of a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Evidence of knowledge of special education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
