Restorative Justice: A Vision for the City

  • West Catholic Library 4501 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA, 19139 United States (map)

When we think about justice as a western society, we often think of a individualistic and punitive system. However, what was God's plan for justice laid out for Israel? During this Jan Term class, we will explore the vision of restorative justice in Israel and its applications for our vision of renewal in Philadelphia.

This 4-week class will be lead by City Church deacons, Julia Snyder and Will Kendall. Some of the content will be drawn from a podcast series produced by the Bible Project. This is not required listening to benefit from the class, but if you would like to listen beforehand, here are the links:

Part 1: What's the Biblical Vision of Justice?
