Parenting Conference | Child Proof: Parenting by Faith not Formula

  • West Catholic High School 4501 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19139 (map)

Parenting formulas and images of an ideal family can leave us defeated and filled with guilt; Julie’s insights can help you discover the freedom of loving the children God has given you in the ways he has equipped you to love.

Julie Lowe, an experienced counselor of children and families and an adoptive and foster mom, helps parents to apply biblical wisdom to parenting – beginning with remembering the Father’s love and care for us as parents, then studying our children, and finally considering how best to care for them in light of our circumstances and gifts as parents.

“Biblical principles remain universal and unchanging,” writes Julie, “[but] the way they are applied in specific ways is unique to each family’s personalities, gifts, difficulties, and circumstances.”

Along the way, Julie will address areas such as:

  • Social media and technology use

  • Safety and protecting our children from potential abuse

  • Rebuilding trust

  • Adoptive issues and special needs

Come & be refreshed in the important and exhausting work of parenting!
