our team

Ministry is about shared love, shared grief, and shared hope.  The church is a community called to life together, and so our staff are committed to be a team that will pray together, suffer and rejoice together, and push each other in hope and faith as friends in the shared task of ministry.

Tuck is the organizing pastor of City Church. He and his wife Stacy married 20 years ago and have worked closely in ministry together ever since. They moved to Philadelphia to start City Church with their kids Connor, Tucker and Emalyn in 2006. Prior to City Church, Tuck finished a PhD in Sociology and served on the staff of several churches, most recently Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City.
